Gas Safety Advocate of 2024 – NGA’s Bob Wilson

NGA is excited to announce that our very own Bob Wilson, Vice President, Special Projects, has been recognized as DeNova Detect’s 2024 Gas Safety Advocate Award winner. This award recognizes exceptional efforts and advocacy in the natural gas industry, perfectly aligning with Bob’s trailblazing contributions to pipeline safety management, service line inspection programs, and the development of critical safety standards.

DeNova Detect recognized Bob’s leadership in improving key safety standards like UL 1484 and NFPA 715, as well as his instrumental role in educating policymakers and stakeholders regarding NYC Local Law 157, each of which have significantly advanced natural gas safety and demonstrated an unwavering commitment to protecting your community and others with smarter gas safety standards.
