DeNova Detect Wins Excellence in Innovation Award by HD Supply

HD Supply honored DeNova Detect with its Excellence in Innovation award at HD Supply Connect 2026. The recognition is especially meaningful given HD Supply’s role as a leading distributor of more than 100,000 products serving property managers, hospitality providers, healthcare systems, and government facilities across the country. This further reinforces the technological advances of the DeNova Detect Natural Gas Alarm and its many lifesaving, and nuisance resistance features.

This recognition reflects growing awareness around an important public safety issue, especially given that in 2025 the US experienced 120 residential fuel gas explosions, an increase of almost 35% over 2024.

For decades, smoke and carbon monoxide protection have been standard in homes. Increasingly, policymakers, utilities, regulators, and retailers are recognizing that natural gas detection can provide another important layer of protection for families and communities.
